Suzanne Gregor

Optical Assistant

Suzanne started working as the 'Saturday girl' in 2013. She is currently studying to become a primary school teacher and her caring nature is apparent whilst dealing with our patients. When she isn't studying for her degree or working in the practice, Suzanne spends her spare time going out with her friends.

Myra Lumsden
Optical Assistant
Myra started working at the practice as a part-time optical assistant in 1995.  She strives in her daily duties to be helpful and friendly to all our patients and is a well-known face in the practice.  Outside work, she enjoys swimming, is a member of the local bowling team and spends time with her grand-daughter.

Our resident Optometrist is a member of the LENS scheme. This is a referral service in Lanarkshire between GPs, Optometrists and hospitals. Patients reporting an eye complaint to their GP should be seen by a LENS Optometrist urgently for treatment or hosptal referral.

About Us

Jordan Perry
Optometrist
With a BSc Hons from Glasgow Caledonian University, and a member of the College of Optometrists, Jordan has over 10 years experience in optics. Jordan has the know-how to deal with various eye conditions and the expert knowledge to find the best solution for all her patients. She ensures she gives the best professional care and advice to each individual patient.  Jordan joined the Motherwell practice in 2010 and is delighted to remain part of the team at G & C Leggate.

Caroline Leggate
Practice Manager & Clinical Assistant
Caroline began working in optics in 1990, and had been managing the Motherwell practice of Black & Lizars since 2003. Caroline is a qualified Clinical Assistant and has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge which she loves sharing with her patients. She and her husband, Gavin, purchased the practice in 2014 and are delighted be running the practice as an independent. Caroline is thrilled that the existing staff are staying, therefore there will be a few familiar faces in the practice!
